The Bruery: Anniversary Ale Flight & Bottle Specials
February 15, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
It’s been awhile since we’ve done something with The Bruery. How ’bout we correct that?
We’ve been holding onto some bottles of the last three iterations of The Bruery’s anniversary ale: Poterie, Cuivre, and Sucre. Each year, the brewery makes a fresh batch of this massive old ale/barleywine and then ages it in bourbon barrels prior to release. They also, however, hold back a small portion from year to year and blend it in with the final product; this method is known as solera blending, and is used most often in wine-making, particularly in the production of fortified wines. And so, essentially, each subsequent version of this beer contains an ever-aging portion of beer. Neat, huh?
We’ll be offering very limited flights of all three beers, capped off by a keg of the Bruery/Jester King collaboration Bouffon, a Belgian-style witbier aged in oak foedres.
BUT WAIT…THERE’S MORE.
We recently acquired a case each of The Bruery Saison Rue, Gypsy Tart, and Beret at a great markdown, and we’re passing the savings on to you. Each 750ml bottle will be available for just $8 on this night only; and yes, the 20% off to-go discount still applies.
See below for a full breakdown of all the beers, and we’ll see you next week!
