International Women’s Day

Women run things around here…literally. One of our co-owners, our Front of House manager, and more than 60% of our front of house staff are amazing, driven, hardworking women that continue to help make Brasserie Y one of the destination beer bars and restaurants in the state.

This Sunday, we’re going to underscore that fact by offering up some killer deals for International Women’s Day:

$2 off Giant Jones taps

Erika and (former Brasserie Y bartender!) Jessica Jones own, operate, and absolutely kill it over at Giant Jones Brewing. On this day, come on over and get a special discount on full pours of whatever we have on draft. What’ll it be? Um…something strong?

Special Landmark Cheese Feature

Owned by Anna Landmark and Anna Thomas Bates, Landmark Creamery specializes in, well, making really freaking good cheese. For this evening (and hey, maybe from here on out), we’ll be highlighting their award-winning Pecora Nocciola, a sheep’s milk cheese with savory, briny macadamia notes.

Special Reminder: Drink Orval

We were going to offer $2 off bottles of Orval, but then we remembered that every Sunday is $2 off every bottle, so just consider this a PSA to drink more of this lovely, classic Trappist ale. In case you didn’t know, Anne-Francois Pypaert has been Orval’s head brewer since October of 2013, and works alongside seven other women (one in the lab, one in Research and Development, four in the office, one in the cheese factory) at the abbey. She is a delight.
