Crooked Stave: Meet the Crew
January 16, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A few months ago, Crooked Stave Artisan Ales (Denver, CO) made their long-awaited debut here in Wisconsin, and locals have fervently embraced the beloved brewery. Focusing primarily on all manner of sour and mixed-fermentation beers (though they do make a killer pilsner, IPA, and coffee porter), owner and head brewer Chad Yakobson has spent nearly the last decade redefining what brettanomyces can do. With a still-surging interest in sour and brettanomyces beers gripping the Midwest, now is the perfect time for our state to welcome Crooked Stave.
We say all of that to say: this coming Wednesday, January 16th, a couple of the Crooked Stave crew will be hanging out at Brasserie Y to eat, drink, and talk all things brett. We’ll have a few treats on draft, plus specials on all Crooked Stave bottles and cans. So come on by and see how sweet sour can really be.
