Almanac Brewing Tap Takeover!
June 21, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
You’re gonna want to sit down for this one…
On Tuesday, June 21st, we’ll be hosting Almanac Beer Company to the tune of five tap lines and a mussels special. For those of you just now crawling out from under your rock–did you know “X-Files” and “Full House” got renewed? For serious–Almanac makes use of a dizzying array of oak barrels and an almost preternatural command of yeast manipulation to craft some of the country’s best and most inventive sour beers. On top of that, their non-sour stuff isn’t too shabby either. Case in point:
The Lineup!
Valencia Gold – Farmhouse ale brewed with Valencia oranges & orange blossom honey
Barbary Coast (Bourbon Barrel) – Imperial stout with cacao nibs, chili pepper, oak, and sea salt
Farmer’s Reserve: Pluot – Sour ale aged in wine barrels with five varieties of pluot
Tropical Platypus – Sour ale brewed with Galaxy hops, aged in wine barrels with lime, passion fruit, mango, and kiwi
Cherry Vanilla Dogpatch – Sour red ale aged in wine barrels with Bing, Rainier, and Montmorency cherries & Madagascar vanilla beans
Flights will be available, and maybe a little swag as well! Check back here for updates prior to the event.
