DESCRIPTION: \nThis Saturday marks the 5th annual Holiday Glow on Monroe\, our neighborhood’s special shopping and dining event.  Come listen to the Monroe Street Carolers as they sing the songs of the season from 1:00-3:00 in the 1700-1900 blocks. And be sure to visit the Books for Giving Sale at the Monroe St. Library from Noon-4:00\, featuring hot cider\, live music and free gift wrapping. Santa is coming to Monroe Street! Santa and his elves will arrive by convertible at 11:00 and will be greeted by Henry the Lion\, the Zoo’s mascot\, at Monroe Commons (by Trader Joe’s). Kids are invited to gather beforehand to get a free reindeer hat and jingle bell to help welcome Santa. He’ll be walking around both the east and west end of Monroe Street\, posing for selfies and handing out $1 wooden tokens towards admission to the magical Zoo Lights display at the nearby Henry Vilas Zoo.\n  \nBrasserie V is joining in the holiday spirit! This Saturday\, purchase $100 in Brasserie V gift cards\, get your bonus $30 gift certificate\, and receive a free Brasserie V glass! Perfect gifts for the beer lover on your list.
