It’s time once again for everyone’s favorite game: What Sort of Shenanigans is BV into This Week?
We’re about to have a couple of special orders land with some favorites and brand new items, plus a couple of special kegs we’ve been holding onto. A final list and price is TBD; we’ll give you all a social media heads-up when we finalize it, but keep checking back here for updates!
Alvinne Cuvee Sofie (Kweepeer) – Sour Ale – 8%
Strong sour amber ale aged in oak barrels with quince, something of an astringent, tart pear-like fruit.
De Dolle Special Extra Export Stout – Stout(ish) – 9%
Big stout fermented with De Dolle’s house Arabier yeast. Effervescent for the style, with slight notes of dried fruit and spice complementing a substantial cocoa character.
OEC Gosatequin Blend #2 – Sour Ale – 5%
Produced in collaboration with Germany’s Leipzig brewery, this sour ale is brewed with sea salt, pink peppercorns, and coriander. It is then aged in a combination of Gin/Pinot Noir and Tequila barrels, then blended with a portion of fresh sour ale lagered in oak.
The Bruery Melange #14 – Barrel Aged Strong Ale – 13.4%
A big, complex blend of bourbon barrel-aged barleywine, old ale, and imperial stout.
To Øl Barrel-Aged Pineapple Express – Imperial Stout – 10.5%
The beer equivalent of “Hahaha WHAT?” Imperial stout brewed with pineapple and coffee, then aged in cognac and whiskey barrels.
