Nine years.
We can’t believe it either. When Brasserie V opened nearly a decade ago, we had one goal: simply, to recreate the experience of drinking classic Belgian beers and moules frites in a quaint, authentic setting.
Since then, it has become so much more: a meeting place, a watering hole, a beer-ticker Mecca, an award-winning restaurant.
Again, we can scarcely believe it.
And so to celebrate, we are putting together a reservation-only, six-course custom dinner, painstakingly assembled by Chef Casey Trumble and Sous Chef Stephen Caroll. Our Cicerone Josh Ruffin will be providing the beer and wine pairings as well. See below for the menu, and call soon to sign up:
1st Course – Foie Gras, Cherry Gastrique, Brioche
2nd Course – Heirloom Panzanella, White Balsamic, Basil, Avocado, Gazpacho
3rd Course – Yellow-Tail Jack, Squid Ink Pasta, Pea Purée, Leeks
4th Course – Squab Breast, Broccoli Rabe, Wild Mushroom, Stone Fruit, Pecans
5th Course – Wagyu Ribeye, Baby Carrots, Shishito Peppers, Cipollini Onions
6th Course – Toffee, Chocolate, Almond, Raspberry
Reservations are $75/person, and include your choice of beer or wine pairings. A credit card number is required upon signup, with a 48-hour cancellation period. Doors will open at 6pm, and dinner will be served at 6:30. We hope to see you there.
